Hey Ladies! We are officially starting our blog. And what better time than February? It’s the month where everyone is sharing the LOVE. And we at Delaney Bella Naturals heart you all! On our blog, we’ll share our favorite things to do, make and wear sprinkled with inspiration and fun finds. We hope you’ll stop by often and share what you like with friends and family.

First up, Valentine’s Day! Remember elementary school? Candy hearts, chocolate and Valentine’s cards all around. It’s fun to give and receive love notes and candy – especially the homemade ones! We’re older now but we still love all that comes with Valentine’s Day. This year, we’re making cookies and lollipops for our loved ones. It’s easy and fun. Here’s how:

Lollipop Lips

Supplies:

  • Plastic lollipop mold – I got these on Amazon.
  • Chocolate candy melts (pink or red) – Get these at your local Walmart or Joann’s.
  • Lollipop sticks – Aren’t these silver sticks cute? Also available at Walmart.
  • Sprinkles – These are optional. You can find them at any cake decorating or grocery store. I found these heart sprinkles at Walmart.
  • Double boiler or melting pot – Like this one.

Steps:

1. Set out plastic mold and place lollipop sticks in.

2. Melt your chocolate by using the double boiler or a chocolate melting pot. It is important to use either of these methods because if not, your chocolate will burn easily.

3. Once chocolate is melted, pour slowly into your mold. Fill to the top.

4. Add sprinkles to the back of the chocolate mold for decoration.

5. Place mold in fridge for 35 minutes.

Done!

If you don’t have time for homemade, pick up a premade packet at your grocery store. BUT, don’t skimp on the icing! Royal icing is the BEST. Check out this recipe. Pick up cookie cutters at your local store or on Amazon.
